Hi babyflump and welcome to the forum.

Have you considered that your first post could be viewed as pretentious? There are many seasoned diabetics on the forum who have great knowledge about their condition.

I don't want to know anything apart from what this site all about ?

I'm a bit lost with this thread. Shall we start again. Welcome to the forum Gabby, babyflumpy, we are a forum for diabetics or family/friends of those with diabetes. If you want advice or support, just ask. There are various parts to the forum, T1, T2, General discussion, jokes and humour etc where you can make posts or reply to posts. Thanks.

I've been diabetic for 7 years now I still find it a pain in the ****... But it's part of life and you just got to think that the medication is keeping you alive really. I've been told many occasions that if you don't keep your control your diabetes then you'll have a hypo and slip into a coma and that. Pretty scary hearing that I know but it's true :(. But as long as you've support around you and you look after yourself you'll be fine. It'll take time to get your head around it It took me a while.

Thank you, I will do!
And you should start fighting, don't let ruin your life, don't let it beat you, the way I think about it, the more you take your medication the more the diabetes doesn't win. You don't take the medication, it wins! That's the way I see it don't know if that helps
