apidra insulin

so you only have 1 ratio? speak to your nurses and tell them you're going hi in the middle of the day and they can suggest something keep a record of your sugars too ain't you just newly diagnosed?

apidra insulin (do u use)
No i don't use it i'm on a pump with NovaRapid, and it works wonders you need to keep a diary of your readings, and ring your nurses and explain what is going on or get your parents too you seem young and said you was going on a pump in feb? so try and get the ratio's done by then

I use apidra in a pump and switched from humalog but I barely noticed any difference and as others have said all the rapid insulins are very similar so it is more likely to be related to dosage/timing of insulin, what you are eating, your basal amount, there are a lot of other things far more likely to be causing the highs rather than the type of insulin you are using so it would probably help to speak to your DSN and if you don't already keep a close log of foods and doses etc maybe try that to help identify any patterns.
