After my recent prediabetes diagnosis (Sept 2020) I did intermittent fasting 17:7 on weekdays (skipping breakfast) and managed to get my A1c down from 46 to 41 in 8 months. I was also taking 15ml of ACV twice a day, once in the morning and again with my evening meal. I don't really know if it helped with the weight loss, but it did seem to help with staving off hunger in the mornings.
