For some time, I've had in mind that I want to know which chemicals are sticking my pump tubing so well to me:shifty: I decided to bite the bullet today but can't find anything...... On the whole, I'm very particular about what I use on my body.
BUT I can't find even a hint to what goes onto the tubing patches and I really want to know. Does anyone know? I know I can ask the companies that make the things but thought this might be quicker!
Has anyone else looked into this and got any results please?

Morning @onlyme I think the easiest way to find out would be to contact your pump company and ask the question ? It seems like common sense to think that they would only use 'safe' products to stick to the skin. Do you have any skin issues with the adhesives ? Personally my area can be red and inflamed for a few days after removing the infusion set, I use cavlon spray which helps reduce the inflammation.

You are right, Juicyj and thank you for your post. I will ask Animas when I order the next round of supplies. I don't really have any skin problems, other than red, slightly raised patches which, like you, I find they disappear within a few days.
I'll post my findings.......
