I'm into week 2 of the second run in bottle. So the higher dose.
I've had migraine, horrendous nausea, acid reflux , stomach pain, exhaustion, weakness and weight loss as I can't eat.
I've decided to stop this trial as I'm 5 weeks in and been off sick due to all of the above..I also have fibromyalgia and my pain levels are really high .

I'm barely eating . I've lost a dress size in the last month but feeling like this is too much.
Has anyone else been this unwell?

That’s a shame, but I’m sure you’re not alone. I take this medication anyway, not in the trial. A proportion of people get the side effects you state, I’m lucky that I tolerate it well while controlling my weight and blood sugars. Well done for volunteering for the trial in the first place though.

Just finished 3 months . Now starting randomisation . Having very positive results so far. Very little weight loss and very minor tummy troubles but am sleeping so well .

I'm 2 weeks into the higher dose and a few days ago I started feeling nauseous and off my food which is worrying as I've always been underweight and don't want to lose any more..

I'm on the trial and had very similar side effects. I lost 2 stone and had to contact them as the weight loss was unsustainable at randomisation they have my dose from 14mg to 7mg. I temporarily came off the tablets due to feeling unwell and having a Urinary infection. When I returned to the tablets I haven't suffered with any of the side effects.

I lost on 4mgs and 7 mgs but since going on ?? placebo have not and have put on some.
I was doing fine on the running 4mg and 7 mg. No side effects other then wind both ends. I lost weight and my HBa1c went down to 48 my fasting morning reading was down to 6.5. My diabetic nurse was extremely happy with me. But now they put me randomised placebo instead of 14mg . My morning fasting reading is up to 9.5. and no more weight loss, as I am desperate, I eat low carbs, not to gain 5kg I lost. I will give it a couple of weeks, but if no improvement, I will stop taking their aspirin placebo. I am not going to carry on with their trail. Its so disappointing I could cry. I'll see if I can but it on line.

I had most of these symptoms on the low dose so i called and was advised to stop the trial which I've done and feeling much better now.
