Thanks. A well designed study and it demonstrates there are no benefits over a 4 year period for diabetics. Well Scottish diabetics over 40. ;-)
The risks of taking aspirin are well known - increased risk of GI bleeds and such.However it does not prove, and didn't attempt to measure, any harmful effects
And surely that's a good thing, as long as the effect is consistent?A correction to my earlier post. Aspirin is OK with insulin but may increase it's effect according to my Levemir leaflet
