- people that make me panic. Racism - in fact most 'isms'
I went to see my doctor this morning to discuss my diabetes control. I ran a graph off from Lifestyle to show him and asked about Melatonin and Vitamin E. He said that I seemed to becoming an expert on my diabetes - which pleased me (and him). I told him that I was following a 'low carb' diet - at least no bread, potatoes, rice or flour - and thought he might not like that, but his opinion was that I was following our hunter gatherer ancestors' diet and that was a good thing too. All in all I was a little surprised - he still won't give me any strips - but thinks that by the end of the year I should be able to cut my Metformin and my blood-pressure tablet too - as my weight reduces.
My next Hba1c will be in August and he thinks I should expect great things. He asked for the details of this website - he wants to recommend it to others. Not too bad really.
Cheers
