Has anyone experienced above
I woke up one morning with aching muscles in my leg . I never discovered what caused aching until i walked into a pharmacy for advise and assistant after looking at list of medications I’m on said it was definitely Atorvastatin that was cause . I believe discomfort will wear off two weeks after I stopped taking Atorvastatin which was a week ago . I still have aches in my arm but my leg has got much better . Should I be taking any supplements. It’s been a very uncomfortable month

I'm sure there's more.
Three times I was blue lighted into aNE and each time got the same doc who said I shouldn't be taking statins.
Then there was a 4th and it was the same guy again!
When are you going to stop taking this stuff?
Well tell my doc he just keeps saying we'll try this one then.
He said I had to stop and he would be making a note for my GP.
I stopped never had those problems again.
I was that bad I couldn't walk.
My cholesterol levels ae fine because I eat porridge and dates and nuts and berries every day.

Can't remember the dosage but I do remember it was the usual starter dose that I presume everyone starts on.
My doc reckons I might not tolerate it because of the concoction of other stuff I take... bad mix with a statin thrown in?
