Back - Finally!

Natalie, just been reading back through your posts in total disbelief. Something else came to mind though- interesting that when you rang the General Medical Council they said they couldn't help but could give you numbers so that you could complain about all of their colleagues, nurses paramedics etc etc obviously not taking any responsibility for their own members ie the doctors?!!

Hi all,

Just wanted to update on what's happening with The Saga (as it is now known at home!)

I've emailed the relevant MP's, my local paper, the PCT and PALS - if I don't get any response from that then I'm going to the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman.

Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that - I re-read everything that's happened since June 10th, 2012.
I had forgotten that I'd kept a journal of everything since then so it's all gone into the email added to the latest hospital stay.
I'm pretty glad I did now

A good journal pays dividends when the chips are down, I keep a daily diary at work pulled me out of the mire on numerous occasions. Good luck with your complaint.

iHs - thanks for the link, very interesting!

I've had this back from PALS so far:

Dear Natalie

Thank you for your email and attachment. I was sorry to hear of your concerns regarding the treatment you received here.

I have forwarded your email to Mr Simon Dursley, Complaints and Legal Services Manager who will be in contact with you very soon. In the meantime could you please confirm your address and date of birth either by replying to me by email or telephone. Upon receipt of this information we will be able to conduct a full investigation into the points you raised.

Yours sincerely

PALS Co-ordinator

I've also had a response from my local MP, so far only asking to confirm my address but at least I know he's got the email
