on Wednesday blood pressure and weight check - let's hope both are heading in the right direction.

Need to ask about my dreadfully upset tum too.

I know I've lost more weight, I'm just not sure how much, our bathroom scales are rubbish, but the clothes are getting gradually more loose.

How did your visit go? Lose more weight? I go to doctors each month. Part for weigh in and check up. I'm losing weight but rely on their scales!! My clothes are getting a lot looser...a sharp tug on my denim skirts and they would be round my ankle!! So now I have to wear a belt to keep them up!

I lost another 4 kg gillyhill, that's 8 kg in total since 13 March this year.

I'm back to the nurse on 3 June for my bloods and weight check. Like you I see a difference in my clothes :)

Good....it feels really good doesn't it? 8kg since march is brilliant. I think I eat too much 'bad' food. Other days I have to be VERY careful and make sure I do eat. Then my appetite is practically nonexistent.

Oh well done to you and isn't it just a really great feeling when things are going well, please for you :)

If I have to go on meds then so be it, but I think there's so much I can do for myself first. I have lots of weight to lose so I need to keep at it

Hopefully you won't need to losing that much weight. I've lost 15.2kg in 6 months. See nurse once a month. Got note in prescription from chemist to see doctor next month. Wonder why? They palmed me off onto nurse after second appointment. Could be that I've got blood tests then.

I have about 5 stone to lose :arghh: but I'll just keep chipping away at it. My BG levels, provided I'm careful sit around the 6 - 8 mark, although I'm seeing more and more 5s.
I'd never have done it without this forum :)

I have quite a lot to lose. I'll never be slim but I would like to lose several more stones. My BG normally is between 4 and 7 but have some high readings as still finding out what foods/ drink sends my BG up

Well done to both of you. I lost 5kg in 2 weeks and then nothing at all in the 3 weeks since. Am being very vigilant and watching carbs and calories as well as upping exercise. Not sure what else I can do.
BG levels are decreasing, but not as fat add one like either. Suspect they were high for longer than I realised.
Would like to know if anyone has experience of Victoza as might explore that with GP. Lowering BG and helping weight loss sounds a winning combo to me.
Thanks to both of you for inspiration to continue.

I think your both doing fantastic , your heading in the direction you want to be so your doing some thing right , keep it up

5kg in 2 weeks is a lot of weight!!! Bit out there....but you could try upping your calories a tad maybe 200 or so see what happens? I don't calorie count just watch my carbs, there may well come a time where that'll change but I'm more than happy with 4kgs a month.

I know! Just fell off, but now nothing! 4kg a month is great going. Will go and glug some cream, can't think of much I want to eat that is calorie laden but no carbs!

Lol - there was cheesecake at work yesterday I was drooling - even the squirty cream was sweetened, bummer

I admit to a small slice lemon cheesecake at works buffer this week...scrummy
