Bad insulin

Hi all,
Doing my lunchtime bolus and noticed white flecks floating in my insulin, now I know this means don’t use it but the damage was already done as I noticed when removing the needle.

i don’t know how many days it had been like this and have been using it fine. BG’s have been a tiny bit higher but I put it down to the heat.

please someone put my mind at ease that this isn’t going to kill me.

Of course it isn't going to kill you. The insulin you've been injecting just doesn't work as well. I had the same situation, and the only secondary effect was hyperglycemia

Hi @Chloelox Always go by what your meter is telling you - you will know if insulin has gone off because your levels are running high, always a good idea to chuck insulin that has particles floating in it or has gone cloudy in the bin, it won’t kill you tho.
