Just had a week of bad eating - sugar bingeing. Have a history of binge eating disorder and have started seeing a counsellor to address it.
But I have made huge efforts since diagnosis 19months ago. Lost 30lbs but have put a lot of it back on.
Must get back low carbing quick.

Take some time to breathe @Angelofthemarches if you feel like you're falling into old habits then clear out the cupboards, re-stock with healthy choices and get yourself out for a walk in the sunshine :)

Hey @Angelofthemarches, hope it feels better to have been able to see your words in black and white that you had a difficult situation but taking steps to correct that....good for you for seeing someone to deal with the eating issues - they are monsters for sure and like to rear their ugly heads at the worst of times! (Speak from experience!) But, they can be tamed and you are headed in the right direction.

Maybe getting back to a food journal would help where you can write down, honestly, what you are feeling b/4, during, after eating whatever it is that you are indulging in....makes me pause as I know I have to be honest with myself...also a good way to keep track of blood sugars and the progress you are making in getting back to low carb and satisfying, healthy eating. Give yourself a gold star for your successes and learn from your "not so stellar" days. Blessings/L

I'm going to be honest.

I'd prefer you did this second attempt slowly.

What I need you to do is pick something which you feel is the most damaging.
Cut it out.... Permanently. For life.
Give it the grief and funeral you feel it deserves. Get rid permanently.
One thing for 3mths.
If other things go by accident we'll so be it but say goodbye to that big ugly damaging food. Forever.
Once you conquer one... for life, the others follow suit, normally.
By which time your counselling will make so much more sense and relevance.

Will you do that for me? Keep me updated. Even on bad days. Do not buy it any more. Ever.
Can you do it?

How are you getting on @Angelofthemarches ? Did you bin it and stop buying it?
I don't need to know what it was. As long as you know how damaging it was to YOUR body.
It may be ok for someone else's body.... but not yours.
We are all different.
I can get away with reheated fresh mashed potato. Not everyone can.
Go find what YOUR body needs for health and feed it to get you to optimal strength and health.
Please tell me you stopped buying it thou?
