Baked potato

Potato and spaghetti hoops (pasta) are both carbs. Maybe low fat cream cheese, grated cheese or hummus and salad instead of spaghetti hoops?
At school we learnt 50% veg/salad, 25% each of protein and carbs for a balanced plate (45years ago)

Hi @aimeeo i use carbs and cals for checking foods, on there a cooked jacket weight of 220g is 45g of carbs, there's other weights but it's handy for checking cooked weights, I find it easier to use this to work out carbs than anything else simply for convenience particularly if eating out ;)

Was thinking of getting that book

Yes Carbs and Cals is the way forward.
I believe that the carb values change slightly depending on how the potato is cooked.
