Having cut out bread, pasta and potato it was nice to find another alternative to replace them. (Man can not live on Cauliflower rice alone lol)

Found these in Tesco's this week and had them with a home made Sausage Bolognese using passata last night. Unbelievable low carb and calories, tasted great in the sauce and kept me full.

Just thought I would share.

The term "big boned" lol repeatedly told this growing up!
Hi I have had them before but they bloated me out, I may have overdone it though! I was like it for about 4 days before I popped! I just stick to the cauliflower rice and courgette spaghetti now. Konjac noodles are filling but you have to rinse the hell out of them first, if they are the same as konjac rice, they smell awful :hilarious:

They are great if you can tolerate them, sadly they made me really bunged up, so much so that it triggered my diverticulitis and I had to have antibiotics! I use above ground veggies as carriers for sauces etc.

I found them very useful, for me mostly cos they're gluten-free, the low-carb was an added bonus though
The Barenaked Ones did not need to be rinsed, they came in water (maybe that's why they didn't need rinsing, dunno) - they did definitely smell a bit strange before they were cooked
Not cheap mind.

Another vote for the barenaked ones, Although I only tend to use them as noodles in stir fry, prefer courgetti or spaghetti squash as my pasta substitutes

I've just looked at the ingredients, because I won't eat anything where I don't understand what the ingredients are or how they are made.
At first the list looked fairly simple and clear, but quick lime! And 3 other highly processed powders euphemistically called "flour".
Essentially very very highly processed gloop.
I don't eat wheat flour these days so these definitely won't be appearing on my table.
I'm quite OK abstaining from pasta, rice and flours. I've got used to it now and don't miss them

But thank you for the suggestion, glad they work for you
