Hello hoping this is a simple enough question but does anyone know where I can get batteries for my blood test meter?
I use the freestyle optium meter which I believe is from Abbot, so I know the easiest thing would be to write to them however I had a letter from them saying that they no longer provided batteries so I'm a bit stuck on where to get them!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :) thanks, Laura

From what I've heard it's not that the manufacturers have stopped supplying batteries, but the Royal mail are refusing to carry batteries on their own , only with the meters!

Yep the pound shop/ 99p store or where I live there are lots of independent shops filled with random things (often with bowls full of fruit and veg for a £1 out the front). They sell them cheap cheap too! X

Lol thanks all! Loving the idea that you can go into the shops full of random stuff to find them, Tinkle your comment made me smile, the bit about the batteries and bowls full of fruit haha!

Try Amazon also, very cheap for batteries and free delivery on most items :)
