Seen this report from the BBC:

I am livid. I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic nearly 3 years ago and told not to worry about it, there is nothing I can do about it, and it probably wont lead to full blown diabetes anyway. And that it takes years and years to develop diabetes

Re: BBC article about pre-diabetec treatment

I would be livid too, I was told about 4 yrs ago that I had a 'slightly' fatty liver, now I know after getting diabetes that it can be a precursor.

I'm confused.

Why are the BBC publishing "news" that is not news at all? What they are saying about the reversal is nothing new at all and studies have already shown this. Here's the link to one such article and there are many many more on the subject.

An exert from the above link:

"Remember, pre-diabetes and diabetes is not a one way street and the solution is not at the bottom of a pill bottle or the end of an insulin syringe, it is at the end of your fork and in the shoes on your feet!"

That's what Doctor's should be saying.
