Hi probably going to get some stick for tis but does anyone get benefits for diabetes? Or diabetes and a illness along side?

I have type 2 and I am getting ESA

I'm having an abdominal operation next week and have been told I'm one of the first on the day list so I don't have to be off food for too long and can get back to normal insulin shots!

- Anyone who asks a question about diabetes without thinking what they're asking.
I'm on ESA athe minute, as I have chronic pancreatitis, which has been playing up somewhat (currrently compressing my bile duct, and 2 attempts to stent it with an ERCP have failed) for the last few months leaving me in constant pain and needing large amounts of opiates just to 'function'. Still get hassled on an almost weekly basis. :-(
