I was very nervous but needn't have been. Apparently my results are astonishing (how did I do it, she asked. LCHF, I told her). I did ask for a full cholesterol and lipid test, which I'm having next week just to be on the safe side but she said I can stop taking metformin! She also asked if I would be prepared to come to the surgery and give support talks to other diabetic patients (that's the scariest bit!).

Amazing well done you!

Very well done! Helping spread the word too, fantastic!
Don’t forget to fast for your lipid tests to get the most accurate results.

That’s great!

I have just asked for a full set of tests too, to compliment the HbA1c test I had a month ago. They didn’t get me to take them at the time.
