BG meter - free batteries?

Anyone had any luck getting free batteries for their meters? I use a Onetouch Ultra and my battery is running low. If I can get a new one sent to me for free I'd like to!

Just contact One Touch/Lifescan and you should get batteries and control solution free of charge.

Yes, if you ring the manufacturer and quote the serial number on the back of your BM machine they will send you one free of charge

I have had exactly the same treatment from them (Lifescan) . All free and promptly delivered...

Accu-check are quick about sending out batteries too, and also quick about sending replacement meters if you have a fault.
