Have had my dinner about 3 hours ago salad Lidl protein roll some cold meat mayonnaise and coleslaw.
Now my BG is 4.8 is this too low?

That's probably because your body is used to your BGs being higher. It's kind of a false hypo until you get used to the lower numbers, but 4.7 or 4.8 is perfectly normal. You are on the right track. :)

Unless you are injecting insulin, or on glucose lowering drugs low isn't all that important.
You might feel a bit wobbly if you aren't used to those levels, but your liver should adjust once it realises that something unusual is going on. If you've had consistently high levels it might take a little while for realisation to dawn.

Thanks this has been the best 2 days I have had since late in November
Think it's down to LCHF I think

On metformin 500 x3 gliclazide 80 X1 and simvastatin 20 X1

I would be delighted with those readings, but I'm not on medication.
I've read on here that you might have to be careful if you're on Glicazide.
Take your readings and see how you feel.

If you are taking gliclazide, you are border-line for a hypo. Might be an idea to consume a bit of carby food.
