Sorry for the long post.
Please can someone advise me? I have been very low carb for nearly a year now and stay around 20g per day. I do not go adrift from this. Over this time I have lost 15 kg, although it has stalled for the last four or five months.
My problem is my BG. I did fine in the beginning but the last few months I am not happy with, they do go up and down a bit. I appreciate my figures are a lot lower than a lot of people on the site but I do not feel in control of them!
Example
day 1
got up 08:49 FBG - 106, had 1 boiled egg with butter, cup of weak tea with cream - 1 hour later BG - 133. 13:30 BG still 117 lunch greek yogurt and cream.
19:30 BG still 100, had turkey fried in butter with mushrooms, tomato and 2 eggs with runner beans, 2hours later BG 96.
Next day
got up 08:20 FBG 114, had 1 boiled egg with butter and a weak tea with cream, 3 hours later BG 132. 14:30 BG still 126, 2 fried eggs, bacon and a normal tomato, 2 hours later BG 121. 20:40 BG 102 pieces of goat fried with some wine, herbs, almonds, chia seeds in a cream sauce with cabbage. Few blackberries with mascarpone, 2 hours later BG 115
Today
got up 09:00 FBG 122, piece of cheese and 2 cherry toms with a weak tea and cream. 1 hour later 146, 2 hours later 145. 14:00 BG 110, 2 fried eggs with cabbage in butter, just over an hour later BG 122
Eggs were always good so I took to having a boiled egg with butter and my tea with cream every morning, some mornings I only rose by 3 mg/dl, some nearly 30 mg/dl. We have had 4/5 days of heat but have been down in the low 20’s for 3 days now, so I would not think that is the problem. I keep going up and down in waves for no reason that I can see.
MySugr said my Hb1 was 35 - 2 weeks ago and now it says I’m 38.1.
Any thoughts, advise or comments would be helpful please
