Aaawww, and I don't think there are many Launderettes about nowadays, unless you are on good terms with someone in Eastenders ;) :p but a family member, neighbour or friend may be able to help for the time being :)

The washing machine has been broken for about 6 years now .. So may have a look for a cheep washing machine.. But will the wife miss not having to fill the machine with water via a garden hose and funnel ? .. Best save my money .. Don't want to upset the wife :angelic:
:eek::eek::rolleyes: Bucket and well next ;)

Omg! Just watching the news. Police have been called to several stores as people fight and climb over each other in the shopping frenzy! People fighting some crushed on the floor. One Asda store has shut its doors. The presenter says theres shoes all over the floor where people have lost them. The Asda store he is in has NO tv stock left already!

SHOCKING! Its like a rugby scrum!
I thought it was awful to watch on the news ...what is wrong with society today ..it looked awful on the news ...

Hi @poohtiggy :) Thank you for asking, yes it is better thank you, using it sensibly and gently. Measurements of hand, fingers and wrist are to be taken monthly ( even though wrist is still' locked.') Therapist is thinking of getting a splint made to mould onto hand and wrist, but don't know yet.
Things are looking up and I'm feeling more positive about getting 'some movement,( somewhat limited) but at least it appears to be going in the right direction :D Hope you are well.
Take care and best wishes

That's good news and you sound very positive, that will help a lot and it's good you are using it. Very difficult being 1 handed though hope the good progress continues.

Well finally got round to getting a new telly tonight, opted for an LG 42'' Smart TV, can't believe how far tv's have come on, the picture clarity is amazing and it's great that you can link up to the internet through your tv, just been watching November Rain by G 'n' R on Youtube :)

Would like a Smart TV, but not worthwhile as our internet speed capability is too slow to support it. Pretty typical for rural areas it seems. Hope you enjoy your new purchase .

Yes I did thanks Snowy, my eldest lad works part-time for a well known high street store during his studies so we got his staff discount, just need to get a Magic remote for the telly to work the Internet much easier, I'll send the wife out later ;)

Well Noblehead, glad the tv is cool, I've got a 42" with smart apps too not that I watch it really but picture and sound are great. As for the Black Friday, Super Saturday and Manic Mondays I wasn't in any cattle markets and did most of my bargain hunting online.
