hi this has probably been asked before, i had a quick look but couldn't see it.
on friday i wore socks i've worn a hundred times before with boots I've worn loads of time too. my feet hurt by the end of the day so took socks/boots off to find a lovely deep blister on the top of my middle toe. looks like a slice has been taken off!
my question is as i need to cover it to put shoes on for work do i use a antiseptic cream of keep it dry, i will ring podiatry tomorrow if i can get through! thanks

Hmm, maybe just a plaster? The ones with little holes in them so that the air can still get to it. That way you'll benefit from a little protection against infection too :)

having a little trouble getting sensitive plasters on a sunday afternoon.
so it will be gauze dressing and micropore tape, but do i keep it a dry dressing? worried it will stick if i do? ta x

In my experience, I like to keep (small) areas wet'ish so I would put some anticeptic cream on and then a plaster/dressing to protect it. This way, it should produce a new skin on the wound which won't be pulled off when the dressing is removed.

thanks thats what i was thinking x
