Blood glucose drops

I am currently checking my BG level through the day while I am changing my merformin dose.
I am finding that quite often when I check my bloods 2 hours after a meal they have dropped by at least (and sometimes more) than 1.0 from their level in my pre meal check.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

I see this sort of thing (5.5 before, 4.7 at +2) fairly often. It doesn't concern me.

It shows perhaps that you are having some effective insulin response to what you ate. What are the actual figures you're seeing and what sorts of food are you seeing this with?

With a meter accuracy of +/-15% your 1mmol difference can essentially be considered as the same as your pre meal level.
This means that any carbs/glucose in your meal has been dealt with within the 2hrs, which is of course pretty much the gold standard of glucose control. Well done.
