Poor you, when you were doing your best, too! Maybe check your app against the info. on Diet Doctor. DD only evaluates grapes in general, not particular varieties, but imo it would be a very unusual type of grape that could find much of a place in a low carb diet. Most people here I think stick to berries, and not too many of them, but of course it depends how many g carbs you are aiming to eat daily / per meal. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/fruitsI noticed the grapes I had scanned were coming up with 0 carbs, 0 protein and 0 fat. This was after I’d eaten nearly 200g and my eyes got blurry and head started to hurt.
You have made a terrific start to controlling your pre-diabetes. Congratulations!as a newly diagnosed prediabetic, I’m still in very early learning stages about diabetes.
Having said that I’ve already started the low carb diet, hoping to change the outcome.
I also want to be able to test my blood sugars
Thanks AlexandraYou have made a terrific start to controlling your pre-diabetes. Congratulations!
Hello and welcome,
I think getting a meter and testing g regularly is the best thing you can be doing for your health.
The meter lets you know how many carbs your body can tolerate.
I think going lower carbs will make such a difference in a few years when you don't develop diabetes- congratulations on being so proactive- I wish I had known then what I know now so I could have been that proactive.
