Blood Glucose Readings Help

So, I have done 2 full days of blood glucose readings prior to thinking about going to the doctors, due to getting a reading of 3.3 at a recent hospital trip.

I am not diagnosed, but my readings are making me question whether or not to go to the doctors. There just seems to be no pattern.

09:47 - 6.1 - Awake/ Before food
11:25 - 7.3 - 1.5 hours After food
11:47 - 7.6 - 2 hours after food
13:16 - 6.2 - random
14:36 - 5.9 - Before food
16:59 - 7.8 - After food
18:38 - 6.5 - Before food
20:59 - 7.4 - After Food/ Bed

09:56 - 5.3 - Awake
11:26 - 5.6 - random
12:11 - 6 - Before food
14:29 - 4.6 - After food
17:29 - 5.6 - Before food
19:16 - 9.1 - random
19:40 - 8 - After food

I have been monitoring my awake and asleep blood glucose levels for more days:

Morning Average = 5.9
Night Average = 6.9

Do these look normal? Should I get an appointment with the doctor?

Hi @Megansloc

Take a look at this information page and in particular the chart about half way down.

Thanks for the reply,

I used this all along, but I'm not sure whether there is enough highs (especially because they're not major high) or low (had my first almost low today) to warrant a trip to the doctors?

If this continues to worry you, then why not speak to your GP about it, probably over the phone during these covid times. He may get a simple blood test arranged for you, an HbA1c which gives an indication of your average blood sugar levels over the last 3 months.

Edit for typo.
