I have been told by my pharmacist that they are stopping my one touch ultra strips on prescription, could anybody give me advice on a machine monitor and strips they recommend that is easy to get on prescription kind regards

If you're in UK, you should be able to get a suitable blood glucose monitor (and a spare) from your DSN. . . That's presuming you attend a hospital clinic.

You should ask whoever prescribes the strips for you which ones they are allowed to prescribe - I know a year or few back I was told by my DN at my doctors 'oh we can't prescribe those anymore - but we'll prescribe these instead' - much cheaper strips, I left that annual checkup with a new prescription and a new meter

Hi. I have new strips for measure blood glucose from one touch ultra. Please let me know if you need it. They expires in March 2019.

I use the Contour Next, which claims accuracy of +/- 10%. If memory serves me correctly, the OneTouch can only muster +/- 20%.
