Blood pressure monitors ?

As well as diabetes I suffer from high blood pressure and I am due for a review from my nurse in a month, I suspect she is going to increase my Atenonol dose if it is still high.
I am trying to loose weight and exercise more but would like to buy a BP monitor and would like to get your opinions on the most accurate and reliable one to buy.
Your views and opinions very much appreciated.

Omron is not a bad make and pretty cheap too. Don't get the wrist monitor, get the upper arm version. Approx £20 from Amazon. I know Omron are good as we use them at work professionally.
 
I got an Omron M10-IT from Amazon. My doc has an Omron too.

My BP is always high at the surgery. Hoping that I can print off my lower home readings to convince nursey that I don't need meds.
 
Another Omron user here too,they are a great bp monitor and very reliable.
 
Thanks for your help, I have just bought a Lloyds Pharmacy BP monitor for £15, its a "Which" best buy and also approved by the British Hypertension Society. So far seems very accurate and gives consistent readings.
