Blood results

Morning all
Just a quick one for you...I'm having the fasting test done tomorrow and just wondering how long,on average, results take to come back?
Obviously each GP and health trust is different but wondering if it's fairly quick?
Sorry, just impatient about finding out what's wrong with me!

Hi. Most path labs send the results back to the GP within a few days, but I always allow 2 weeks.

I believe it is supposed to be three days. I make an appointment to see GP a week after blood test. You could ask the nurse who takes the blood how long it's likely to be.

About a week
