Blood Sugar in High 20's and GP not helping, please advise

No, it's something quite brown and you just sprinkle it on the cheese; its not a cooking sauce. Arrhh, what's it called. Seen it on an advert on TV. Never mind, I think I'll just stick with the cheese

I think you mean Worcestershire sauce.

You lucky thing, I asked the nurse the other week. I said I wont to be proactive, and find out which and what foods I can eat. Why cant I have them. She said you'll have to take it up with the government.

Just eaten Shepherds pie and I feel awful, really sluggish and tired. Only ate a small bit - it was part of this weeks meals. Not one to be repeated.
Also, has affected my mood.

Don't worry Scottie, tomorrow is a new day.

I tsp of worcestershire sauce has 1.1g of carb. (Loads of potassium and sodium).

Oykos Greek yogart - just eaten one and liked it but it states 17.3g carbs. This is a full fat yogart? Confused

Its a mine field isn't it Scottie. I was stood in Asda the other day with with one pot of yogurt in each hand, trying to compare the SMALL ! print, boy do they make it small. I think they should surply a magnifying glass. Lol
On the plus side Scottie we are both reading the small print. Don't worry we will get there.

Vanilla essence, good idea. Hope you like it.

1.1g isn't a lot for a tsp, and it makes a big difference to the taste

I don't know how much of the sodium etc is meant to be in a daily allowance but you're hardly likely to spread a teaspoon. I would still have it to be honest as well.

It certainly is Milly, hopefully we can spur each other on. It has hit me this last couple of days that I am in this for the long haul and nobody can do it for me. After all these years, it's taken being frightened I was going to die to make me realise that unless I change my life, that could possibly happen sooner than I want it to. Scary.

That's exactly what happened to me in the middle of January, a real scare that finally motivated me to sort myself out

I have no idea what sour cream tastes like! It isn't sour. With berries added it is thick, creamy and sweet. If it isn't sweet enough for you, you can stir in a bit of cream. Why not buy one and try?
Bluetit talks a lot of sense. On the yoghurt front, Manor Farm make a natural smooth and creamy yoghurt - best I've tasted by miles.

So would I. I add it to lots of things I'm cooking, and it's gorgeous on a roast dinner, I love it! I don't suppose I ever have more than half a tsp though, it's very strong

I like Yeo Valley Organic Greek Yoghurt - 6.2g carbs per pot. It tastes great with blueberries or a little stewed apple and cinnamon. Re the Crispbreads I have Ryvita Crackerbreads which are 3.7g carbs per slice - the plain ones are tasty when spread with peanut butter or Philadelphia Cheese and makes a quick and relatively low carb snack! They also do cheese ones but I've not tasted them yet!!
