hi today at lunch i had toast with peanut butter 2x toast with peanut butter which is around 40 grams carbs my blood sugar was 11.9 so injected 13units of novorapid 2hours after my meal my sugar level was 10.7 then another 2hours later it was 10.3 then another hour later it droped to 8.3 so meaning 5 hours after meal it droped to 8.3 does it sound like my basal is to high as it dropped by 2mmol on the 5th hour after my meal

I'm not sure it says anything about your Basal. It could be that it is too low? I think peanut butter comes with fat which would slow the carb absorption. BTW your carb counting ratio is very high which implies you have excess weight and perhaps insulin resistance? If so, this just adds confusion to the results. Do you need to reduce the carbs in your diet?

hi doc has never told me that im insulin resistance i woudlnt say im overweight im about 5ft10 and weight about 13half stones
