I have discovered that my blood sugar level has doubled since taking prostate medication. Is this directly linked please?

I have been taking Tamsulosin for about 2 years with no effect on BG that I have noticed.

Tamsulosin and Finasteride - probably do have an impact most things do somehow - but last A1c, 18 months in, was 36 so nothing frightening. Best wishes with managing both.

I have also been taking Tamsulosin for several years now - no impact on BG at all.
My concern is with dutasteride. Have you known any side effects relating to this please?

Likewise I have not been troubled by Tamsulosin but dutasteride has doubled my blood sugar to 94. Do you know of any information relating to dutasteride and diabetes please?

Sorry @Chrib I don't know about dutasteride. The eride part would suggest there may well be a negative impact but as always we are all N=1 over this.
