Hi,
I was diagnosed with Diabetes about 18 months ago with a HBA1c level of 8.7, this came down to 7.2 but for most recent test went back upto 9.2 . I am also having other symptoms that my neurologist things are unlikely to be caused by diabetes and he suspects that these might be caused by another as un yet diagnosed neurological disorder that I hope to hear more about this week. My question is would a HBa1c level of 9.2 normally point to someone being fatigued all the time with little energy and barely able to the normal household tasks? And also would this account for the periods of real confusion and feeling like I am remote controlling myself(I know it sounds weird but it closest that I can think of). The thing is I have seen a doctor for work as I have been off for a while and my own doctor doesnt give me the impression that levels like this would cause this long term fatigue/confusion and I am wondering if maybe this is being wrongly attributed to diabetes when it has another cause?
I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences that might be able to help me answer my question?
Thanks!
