Hi,
I started running a few weeks a ago and have now started interval training with my little boy in his pushchair. Today we did 12 miles.
Before we set of, my sugars were 5.7 but while out went up to 16. I have been told by consultant to do a temp basal reduction of 30% but luckily I forgot to do this today. About 3 miles in, I put a temp basal on at 150% and had to do bolus corrections. Had to do another 2 bolus corrections and temp basal was on for 3 hours after my run - is this normal? Do other people need more insulin when out running? Also been on really LCHF all of this week so doesn't really make sense :s
