Blood sugar roller coaster

Hi, again!!
I would reduce your carbs even lower for a few days, doing without the sweet potato and such! Just to get you steady and nearer normal levels again!
The fluctuations won't be kind to your body.
Sometimes it does take a few days to get over this sort of thing!
There could be many reasons, insulin resistance, intolerance to your few carbs, other hormonal changes, the cold, the weather. (It is cold, isn't it?)

Who knows?

Take it easy mate!

Last night pre dinner 7.1 hour after 6.5 two hours after 6.2 all in normal range but still a bit weird this AM fbg 5.6 hour after breakfast 4.9 still one thing I've learnt diabetes follows it's own set of rules and they are not easy to work out at times, some times it doesn't seem to obey any rules I think the word is capricious.

Yes and looks like sweet potato is now out.

Try a couple of boiled small new potatoes instead of sweet potato. Low GI.

I can cope with 2 small new potatoes with butter on them. I have tried the same meals with and without these, and there is no significant difference for me, but if I have 3 there is a significant difference!
