Hi all. I haven't been on for a while. I have a question. My mom went to the doctors the other day to be tested for diabetes. She was told that there was no need to fast as they have found a way tondo the tests without fasting. I spoke to my diabetic nurse about it and she said that they were wrong and I needed to fast when I went for my blood test. Now my mother in-law has said that she was also told that they have stopped the fasting test has there is a new way of doing it without fasting. Can anybody shine a light on this please.
