Hi

I wanted to know if blood sugars being high had anything to do with my a flushed face. I usually can go about my day without any issues and then theres days where I can be flushed throughout the whole day. I know blushing is when you're embarrassed but this is literally my face red for several hours, I have checked my blood sugars during these times and usually in the 9s or 10s, no family history of this issue either.

I had a florid complexion when eating carbs - various test were done as a result - non of which was for high blood glucose, but not what I am consistently low carb I have an almost alabaster hue by comparison.

I have been thinking of having ipl done. To reduce the redness. Its literally beet red for several hours. I can't go on like this at work my friends keep asking me If I'm ok and ect

Usually after my meals it will go down to 8.5, but I'm trying to get better 1 hour readings, my 2 hour readings are usually 8.9, and 3 hour I'm back down at 6.4. I'm on metformin and sitagliptin, I hope I can 1 day manage without so many drugs. They all have side effects,
