Boils

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has boils come up on their hands and fingers. They start as an itch but gradually grow into pus filled lumps. My bg is not especially high so can't think what's causing them. They only come out every now and then but still annoying

Are you a keen gardener? Some plants or even soils can cause problems.
Another possibility is scabies mites - one of the local charity shops had an episode of infections which took quite some time to eradicate. You mentioning itching made me think of scabies.

Hi @tracyann1 . We can’t really diagnose here on the forum. I suggest asking your pharmacist or GP. If you can only get a phone appt, maybe you could send in some pictures of your hands during a breakout.

Doesn't sound like something diabetes related. Have you seen your GP about it?
