Hello, I've been having a bit of a sort out in a kitchen cupboard and came across a box of Needles for my Pen, the box is still sealed. However, they're 1 year passed an expiry date. Would they still be okay to use? I do have plenty in date Needles, this box fell to a bit of a blind corner and sat undiscovered for a while!

Regards
Luke

Gosh, oldest I've used were 5 years out of date..
For me only... They not bad.. But have to advise you not to use!!
I very rarely change needles and they aren't on my repeat script!!

Thanks for your reply! I used to be a bit bad for changing my needles, but having just completed my BERTIE course and being shown a magnified photo of a needle used once, I'm making a conscious effort to change it after every injection now!

Depends a bit on the needles you are prescribed.. Mine always been the BD lubricated ones.
My hospital nurse said that with so many injections that if she were me then only BD was the best and she knew my lack of changing..

I doubt the needles can read the use by date :p

Hope you keeping well. :)
