Boyfriend throwing up so I had to leave

You did the right thing - apart from anything else a week in hospital costs the nhs and if this can be avoided do. There is very little you can do for an adult with a bug, best get out of the way.

I know if my partner had a sickness or vomiting bug, he would not want me to get the bug and would of said exactly the same.
How are things this morning ?

I'm not sure. He's still asleep. He messaged me in the middle of the night saying he was still throwing up, but felt a bit better. I'm gonna go see him this afternoon :)

You have definitely done the right thing if catching any germs is going to give you issues...

you should get tooled up with sick day rules for the future so you can look after each other....lol...

I feel so bad but I had no other choice :( I've come to stay at my parents tonight, as my boyfriend has a bug and has been throwing up all evening. He insisted I go so I don't catch it. (When I've had bugs in the past it's always resulted in me being on a drip in hospital for a week) I still feel so so bad though :-(((( ah did I do the right thing
Don't feel bad, I am the same always ending up in the hospital if I get the flu or something. It's so dangerous for diabetics. So dangerous that I passed out one morning with the flu and hours later family found me on my he floor in a coma. Docs have no idea how I survived and I have lots of pain now because of the incident. I don't mean to scare you, simply say that you did the right thing by leaving.
