Brands of SR Metformin

Are all the Slow release brands containing the same tablet as I've recently switched to Sukkarto and I'm having very bad Diarrohea despite not changing my low carb diet.

Any advice would be welcome.

When I was on Metformin (SR too), I would get a different brand each time I ordered so it seemed, depending on whatever the pharmacy had. They were all bad for me stomach wise, both SR and Normal release.

I've had most of the SR brands over the years with no problems.

When I took Metformin both IR and XR they were different brands some of the times. I did not have any stomch problems with them.

My pharmacist said it was because the manufactures used a different bulking agent so the y could sell the metformin rug under a different name.

I had a problem with one particular pharmaceutical companies SR Metformin which left a horrible taste in my mouth .The pharmacist said that it was probably the bulking agent .
