Hi all
Just weighed in after coming back from hols.
As the hotel had a good deal with breakfast included I though I would experiment a little whilst away.
I never usually eat breakfast and just have lunch (sometimes) and dinner.
The hotel had a stupendous breakfast buffet including freshly cooked omelettes so I though I would try an almost zero cab approach.
Had bacon, eggs, ham and cheese in some combination every day.
Maybe a late afternoon snack of more cheese
Evening meal consisting of primarily meat and fish (usually prawns and beef) a couple of times I asked for extra butter.
On the last night (sunday) we pushed the boat out and had starters of mussels, squid, prawns wrapped in serrano ham and garlic mushrooms followed by a mixed grill.
So the damage......
I put on 0.8 of a pound.
Also drank copious amounts of coffee with the highest fat content cream I could find (about 35% fat).
Apart from a long walk on the first morning we didn't really do much more exercise than the usual dog walking apart from one afternoon where I got carried away and went to the hotel gym!
I was expecting to have gained a few pounds at least as I ate way more than I usually do.
I think I have found a maintenance diet for when I get to my target weight.
