"Bruise" type mark

I have a very strange mark on my leg. It is just above my ankle on the inside of my leg where the skin is quite thin. It looks very much like bruise but has been there for some long months now. There is no pain at all but it is gradually getting darker and very much larger. I am worried that it may turn out to be ulcerative. Any ideas what it is, please?

You need to get this checked by a profesional any mark lasting a few months and especially one that gets larger needs to be checked .Go to your GP or walk in center if its not important you will have peace of mind and if it needs treating the sooner the better
