Just when I thought I was in the way to understanding my bs levels and using the glucose monitor I have another question. I had blueberries and probiotic yoghurt for breakfast. My fasting level was 6. I tested one hour after my meal (I was feeling not quite right so I decided to test) and my level was 6.2. I then tested an hour later (so two hours after my meal) and the level was 5.5. If I had only tested 2 hours after I would not have known that my bs had gone up to 6.2. So, when should I be testing and which of these levels is the most relevant to decided whether it is a good food or not? At 5,5 I would say it is OK to eat but not at 6.2. I am confused!
