BS readings

Hi @Mike Have you considered getting your own BP monitor? I have an Omron, or rather Mr. BT does. I use it occasionally, but they are a good way of keeping your own records of your BP at different times of the day and in different circumstances. If it's better than the ones the doc takes when you are under stress, you can take the records along with you to appointments. You could also ask for one of those 24 hour BP monitors to be fitted by the nurse.

I'm pleased the finger trembling isn't a cause for concern. If that is how you sleep, your circulation/nerve ends are perhaps affected and need a bit of time to "unbend" and wake up. LOL.

I'm off to bed now. Night night.

Nite BT :)

Nope, don't want one ..... Just hate the damned things and no, it's not WC syndrome either. It just feels like a gross intrusion to me. Gimme a needle for bloods and I could not care less. No issues whatsoever. Put that band on me and I either tense up (though I don't feel like that) or my BP is just at a "natural" level for me.

Had a ridiculous weekend. Went out on Friday and got silly drunk. Drank an alcopop. Tested and I was 14.8, panicked and went home. Felt horrble on Saturday. In the high 9s all day. Decided against better judgement that id order a pizza. Put me up to 11.

Ive behaved since. Around the 7-8 now.

Lesson has been learned!

Hi lexa x, we all kick against it now and again, trouble is its usually us who suffer: banghead, but hey ho were only human.....hope you recover quick! ::))

Post dinner 4.8
After at 3hrs a naughty 7.3 too many chips and too much protein at pub quiz.

Interestingly, one of the our team members is also a tyoe 2 on insulin and after her wedges, chicken goujons and a half portion sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was at 5!!! I suspect part of my issue is that I am not used to carbs so there's a lag in dealing with them.
