Bumps under my skin

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed in May with figures in the 20's . I felt awful. I now take metformin sr 1000 x2 and forxiga I am 5"4' and weigh about 10 stone . Recently I have found that I am prone to injury - popped cartilage in ribs x2 tendinitis in wrist and finger pain in one ankle. I am fed up of moaning and now under my skin I can feel all little lumps - like I'm made of cottage cheese. Oh and my shoulder really hurts today on the opposite side to normal...anyone else noticed this or am I just ready for the knackers yard at 46?

Sorry Amanda I should have read a bit more carefully. In that case, I have no clue. Hopefully someone else will reply, if not, see your doc. Good luck !

Hi amanda, just wondering have you actually had any tests to determine if you are type 2, such as the gad antibody test. I can remember for some time before diagnosis having a terrible itchy rash on my arms that were small red slightly raised red lumps. Completely cleared after starting insulin. are you able to test your sugar levels

Hi Brett , my sugars are under control (never seem to go above 8) forxiga really working. Still very tired and also get allergy rashes in random places, like stung by nettles. However the lumps of concern are under the skin and can be felt with fingertips over most of my body. Just thought someone may have had similar?
