About us ….

We are four students studying to become pharmacists and we are undertaking a project in our final year. We are studying at the Medway School of Pharmacy, The Universities of Greenwich and Kent at Medway.

About our study…

1. What is the purpose of the study?

This study is aimed at finding out how people who have to take medicines long-term cope with them on a day-to-day basis and how these medicines affect their lives.

2. Do I have to take part?

No. It is up to you to decide whether or not you wish to take part.

3. What will happen to me if I take part?

If you agree to be a part of this study you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire, which will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. If you decide to complete the questionnaire, please follow the link below, which will take you to a survey.

4. What will happen to my questionnaire?

Your completed questionnaire will be put together with those of all other people who have filled it in, so we can learn how many people are affected by medicines in different ways. We might publish the results of the study, but nobody will know that you took part.

5. Are there any risks / benefits involved?

There are no risks in taking part. We are not offering any payment for completing a questionnaire.

6. Who will know what is in my questionnaire?

No-one will know what is in your questionnaire, because it is anonymous.

7. What should I do if I change my mind?

If you change your mind before you have finished filling in a questionnaire, please tell the researcher.

If you are willing below is a link to our questionnaire: https://qtrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eL4Pe16LSij8PzL

Completed for you.
One point - I feel the responses from this site may skew your results as I imagine evryone here questions the benefits and side effects of every medication they're prescribed. Also many on here will know more about diabetes and meds than their doc does ;)

Thanks for you feedback
:D
To main aim of our study is to look at the burden of medicines in a sample of the general population recruited by different method, using a questionnaire suitable for this purpose.
