Hi, I've recently started bus driving again on service work but I've started to fall into the old trap of snacking on junk i.e. sausage rolls, chocolate bars, crisps, etc as I can't sort out proper food. Can anyone suggest anything I can pack up for my snap and for a snack as I work long hours? Just got to mention the only thing I eat on a salad is radish and lettuce, I don't like onions unless they're pickled

How about nuts? Or Babybel or chunks of cheese and cherry tomatoes (or radishes!)? A Greek yoghurt plus a few berries? If you can access a fridge or coolbag it'll widen your choice, eg prepared cooked chicken pieces, etc I also like chunks of fresh coconut (you can buy little tubs already prepared)

If you're able to eat some carbs, then you can consider trying some fruit or something like rye bread or oatcakes or similar along with your protein/fat, depending on your blood sugar.

Any cooked meat, sausages, my husband loves sausage rolls, but he is low carbing to help me, so he has changed sausage rolls to just sausages, he discovered a brand in Asda called Heck, that do chicken sausages, he loves them. He has said he couldn't imagine going back to sausage rolls.
I discovered today you can toast sweet potato in a toaster, so much more yummy toasted slices of sweet pots than crisps.

I use the Heck sausage squares to make scotch eggs - low carb and delicious!!
