Hi all, I'm new to all this forum thing so please be patient with me! I've been type 2 now for about 4 years and haven't really taken it all that seriously until now.
I'm on Metformin/Vildagliptin and Gliglazide but having real problems getting my levels down, I'm now trying to decide whether or not to try Bydureon, can anyone give me any advice or feedback on this please?

SIDE EFFECTS
I've been on bydureon (in addition to metformin) since January 2014. Injections have left some bumps and slight bruising, but have been advised that these will clear up in time. Also experienced some nausea, bloating and several stomach upsets (mainly earlier on).

PLEASE NOTE
I'm taking bydureon as part of a study and I don't meet the normal clinical criteria for prescribing this treatment. So, although I've seen a welcome improvement in blood glucose management, it wasn't that bad to begin with.

[Type 2 since 2004. Taking metformin for a couple of years.]
