C peptide results help! MODY?

Hello please can anyone help me try and understand the letter I’ve just had in the post, as it’s a Saturday I can’t call the nurse I don’t think...saw consultant month ago to review diabetes meds as my hba1c has steadily gone up over the last year despite trying 5 different meds. They finally did the cpeotide and anti gad blood tests...I’ve been waiting for the results.
The letter that’s for my doctor and a copy for me, goes through history then saying I might be MODY? And they have added a note at the bottom saying “her C Peptide was 1311 when her fasting glucose was 9.7, so she at have MODY GAD antibodies to come.” Does this make sense to anyone please? As it’s not to me! Is that a very high or low c peptide result?
He’s suggesting in the letter I start Repaglinide. I don’t see the diabetes nurse in the hospital for another 2 months time to review. The the consultant in another 8 months time. Any help on this be greatly appreciated! I’ve been waiting for these results...but don’t feel any more clued up yet.

Any chance of getting some units attached to that result - because the levels don't mean much without the units attached....
Look, my only knowledge on this is what I've read on here and what I've just googled, but....

Normal Range
The normal range for fasting blood C-peptide levels is around 0.8 – 3.85 ng/mL or 0.26 – 1.27 nmol/L (260 – 1270 pmol/L). Ranges vary between laboratories.

It’s best if your levels fall within the low-normal range, because higher levels (even within the normal range) can signal excessive insulin production and insulin resistance.

Levels below 0.6 ng/mL (0.2 nmol/L) are a sign of possible beta cell failure and type 1 diabetes [2, 1].

Blood levels will increase after a meal to about 3 – 9 ng/mL (1 – 3 nmol/L or 3000 – 9000 pmol/L)) in healthy people. This measurement is referred to as postprandial C-peptide [1, 2].

Values in urine are usually measured over 24h. Normal urine levels are around 14 – 156 ug/24h.

I believe that Repaglinide is an insulin increasing drug (will make you produce more insulin). In your position I'd probably try a low carb diet to maximise my chances of keeping off medications ....

But my (very limited) understanding of MODY is that it doesn't necessarily result in insulin injections....

I can’t call the nurse I don’t think...
Give it a try... seems tough that you have to wait 2 months to get any clarity on this.

Good luck, lots of virtual hugs.

Thankyou for your help, yes that’s what I thought the results are shown within ranges usually? This figure of 1311 as she’s typed it, doesn’t make sense to me. I will email the team and see if they can give me more of the results.
I’m currently prescribed Gliclazide, which lowers me too much. So they want to try repaglininde as makes you produce insulin after eating, rather than all day like Gliclazide. I think?
I have tried low carb med diet 3 years a go when told was prediabetic, kept my hba1c stable for 2 years then it shot up. Felt the rise and took myself to drs saying it’s high, despite increased exercise and healthy eating etc. Was having blood sugar readings of up to 24.9 which wasn’t great.
I’m really pleased the gp referred me to consultant, who agreed to do cpeptide and anti gad tests. Now I just need find out the results of these better...I assumed they’d test to see if I was LADA or definitely type 2, as that’s what they first said I had. Not testing for MODY. Either way be good to know and the treat accordingly.
Thanks again for such a supportive reply xx
